Shogun - Greenville

We visited Shogun and had a wonderful experience with the food. My husband opted for the steak and calamari combination and loved it. I chose sushi, and each time I go, I like to try something new. So far, my favorites have been the Creamy Monster, Louisiana, and Spider rolls. They prepare everything fresh to order. I gave it four stars because when the restaurant is busy, there can be a delay in service. However, the staff is very friendly, and the food is excellent.

Every Thursday is Date Night for my girlfriend and me. This week it was my turn to pick the restaurant, but we all know she usually has the final say, so we ended up at Shogun. We had been there before and enjoyed it, and this visit was just as delicious. Our server, a guy with glasses and a great sense of humor, was a bit hesitant due to the busy crowd but still took excellent care of us. Overall, it was a lovely evening!

You have the most personal and friendly bartender. Eating was really good, both times I left. They use New York stripes for the Hibachi, and it is really tasteful and delicate. Sushi was good too. The room was clean, modern and spacious.

Lively place, our waiter was fast, friendly helpful.... the food was very good... not my favorite but worth it...
