The Irish Pub - Greenville

This was my first time visiting this restaurant, and while the atmosphere was fantastic and the bartender was wonderful, I had a negative experience with the owner, who was rude and unprofessional during my visit. I’m assuming he’s the owner, as he was behind the bar and displayed verbal aggression towards a customer. To the owner, I hope you understand that your unprofessional behavior is holding this place back from reaching its full potential. I would recommend saving your time and heading to McGee's in Anderson instead; the experience there is far superior.

I came here on Wednesday to enjoy some live music. The atmosphere was great, with cold beer and delicious bar food. I highly recommend the Sampler!

The name says it all! This place offers a casual and cozy atmosphere with the charm of an authentic Irish pub. The vibe shifts with the seasons; in winter, patrons gather indoors, creating a warm and intimate setting. While many choose to stand or sit at the bar, there are also tables available. We visited during a World Cup match, which made for a lively experience! In the warmer months, you'll find people chatting with the staff at the outdoor bar and enjoying games of volleyball on the two courts outside. It's always entertaining to watch the volleyball matches, whether they're organized by Re-Ligas or just for fun. This is one of the few spots in Greenville where you can enjoy a genuine Guinness, although the food leaves a bit to be desired. The chicken tenders were tasty, the fries were decent, but the potato skins were a bit too much. Overall, this bar is a hidden gem in Greenville, thanks to its unique charm. I can't wait to get on those volleyball courts!

Nice venue, live band, sand volleyball, good beer. A stress free guys night out. Appetizers are pretty good too.
