The pizzas were excellent, especially the large BBQ chicken one we shared, which we washed down with a bottle of wine. The staff were all fantastic, as were the friendly customers. The pub had interesting stories about local legends and giant fish. On another night, we enjoyed the Scotch fillet steak with delicious pepper sauce, followed by the cake of the day with chocolate ice cream. A big thanks to everyone at the pub for a wonderful experience!
Masked by a rustic exterior the Greenwell Point Hotel holds it’s attraction within. Great bistro with changing menu showcasing local seafood, all the usual “Pub Tucker” and their famous pizzas. Reasonable priced bar added to by the quality of the staff. The locals regular visitors keep going back, there’s are reasons for that.
Old style pub Excellent dinner, local Blackfish is great. Some outdoor seating. Historic photos on the wall. Friendly service.
If you are looking for the original pub feel this place is it. But hurry it won't be for long, they will be knock down rebuilding very soon. The food is plentiful and the original style chips are good (Im not normally a fan of the old style chips but these ones hit differently) Even the kids steak was a big serve. And the beer was still cheap (cheaper than city prices that is) $15 for 2 drinks instead of the $20 for one drink I see around the city. Keep the good work guys, I knew the kitchen had issues tonight but you still did a cracking job and the staff were brilliant.
Perfectly cooked sirloin, great buttered chicken, excellent beef burger, and delicious schnitty. A great place for a good pub feed.
