About 15-20 minutes later, the crowd started rolling. This place is popular. This is likely because the menu is exhausting, the prices are good and the service is good. We ate in the clean restaurant. Our food came within minutes of the order at the counter. I got the almond chicken and my husband got the brown chicken. Both came with fried rice and an egg roll. Very cheap and portion sizes were just as good. I saw no reason to give it less than four stars. But I didn't give him five because the fried rice was just ok and the plastic essutensiles were very flimsy.
So I usually go to Egg Roll Number 1 from Emerson and let me tell you they're not connected. No Vietnamese menu. This place is your entire Chinese food in America. For about $7 lunch you will get a duck, soup, egg roll and fried rice. You can't beat the price! I had chickens and corn in a clear sauce. I love corn and wanted to see what it was about. It was what it said, chicken and corn with bamboo shoot in white clear sauce. Nothing exciting or special about it. Flavoring was okay. My husband got Hunan beef and it was above average compared to other fast food places. The taste was very tasteful and the beef was tender and juicy. Customer service was friendly and fast. Lunch is served until 2:30 and they were very punctual when the lunch menu ended. The place was clean and very welcoming. I would definitely go back:
I decided to eat here for lunch, because it's really close to where I work. I ordered the Szechuan beef and a small order of crabs Rangoon. Everything had a wonderful taste. I loved lunch with soup. I ordered them hot and sour soup. And it had an excellent taste. The only thing that was missing was that they had no mushrooms in the soup, so I don't know if it was just my bowl or the way it comes, but somehow it was still really good. And lunch came with an egg roll. Now that I know I like it, I will eat there often. I also updated pictures of the menu, which were here slightly outdated.
Drove 30 minutes to go to Greenwood to find only to Lotus Gardens, they are out of business, so drove over the street and wow what an awesome find! We ordered the combo appetizers (don't forget to order an extra egg roll as it was only with 1) and he got the general chicken and I had to go with my Fav, Kung Pao chicken. Everything was great! The only bottom was that the atmosphere is not very large. It didn't put my husband and I in phase when the sweet man behind the counter was super friendly and friendly. He also has an amazing memory, remembers all orders waiting to go for orders, and is excellent in customer service! The music was also great! We will definitely drive 30 minutes to come back soon!
So glad we finally tried this place. The food is great, you an tell they use fresher ingredients than a lot of Chinese places. Staff is very courteous. Tables were clean. Food takes 10-15 minutes. We dined in and got take out again the next day! So we've tried a few different dishes and appetizers, all very good. And their egg drop soup is the best I've ever had... I didn't even know it was possible to make it better.
