Sassafras - Greenwood

This was so fun. Took my sister and 2 granddaughters (7 5) to their first princess tea. It was soooo great. The “princess” (Belle) went from table to table talking with all the girls, and singing (she has an amazing voice). There was also a “photo booth” available with lovely props for the girls to use while parents took pictures. Each girl also had the most beautiful little cupcakes made for them. Then there was craft time, where the girls were able to decorate paper crowns with stickers and markers. The whole place just “oozes class and sophistication”. The owner noticed that my granddaughters weren’t eating much, (even though the selection was quite extensive) so she went in the kitchen and made them turkey with mayo sandwiches. The chicken salad was delicious. Lots of beautiful china teacups and pots. Each group had their own table with with a stand of lovely food. Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches were cut in the shape of teapots. Looks like a small mansion from the outside, and it’s even better on the inside. We will never forget it. Hope granddaughters will never forget this memory.

We had a great lunch! I called the day before and made reservations. These were suggested but not required. There were 5 of us and we ordered 4 different entrees and 3 different desserts and all were great! The hostess was friendly and I would recommend this to any of my friends.

I can’t say enough good things about Sassafras Tea Room! The staff went out of their way to make my event extra special. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was perfect.

The Sassafras Tea Room is such a special place. We had a surprise birthday party for my mom and it was amazing! It was the perfect place to host an event. The planning was easy and the service was great.

We had my bridal shower here and it was so amazing! The food, staff and environment were perfect. I highly recommend. Thanks again for a very memorable and enjoyable time.
