I’m always surprised how good the food +service is here. It’s nothing fancy but it’s really great pub fare, they cook the steak to exactly how you ask for it (most places overcook it one level +I always get an extra mushy sauce. They have some nice garnishes for a G+T, I had pineapple +lime with Aviation gin, only thing that would of made it better is a nicer mixer like Capi or Fevertree (I’d pay extra for a good tonic! . Young bloke at the bar was really lovely. Service is always good, must be a good place to work cos I never see an unhappy or ambivalent employee. Decor is a tad dated but it kind of makes it cosie, real easy going place. Fresh flowers at the table are just a nice lil touch.
