Lucy - Greenwood Village

I got food poisoning from the Steak special on Saturday night! I have been very sick, vomiting, and had to visit the doctor where I was diagnosed with food poisoning. The food wasn't that good, but the service was decent.

I wanted something different to eat for a special occasion. Well, something out of the ordinary. So I went to opentable.com and found this restaurant named Lucy's in the DTC. I checked out their website as well as their menu. The web site was limited and did not show photos of the restaurants atmosphere but the photos of the food looked extraordinary. So I took a chance and made the reservation. When we got their the place was very contemporary and laid back. It was upstairs from the Comedy Works (in the same building . I actually had made reservations for the Comedy Works so it worked out perfect. Let me tell you I have eaten at quite a few five star restaurants and this one was extra extraordinary! The food was just unbelievable. They serve homemade cornbread and whipped butter to start. I ordered lamb shank, beef tips, brussel sprouts, Caesar salad, and dessert. The food was wonderful it makes my mouth water thinking about it now. The wait staff was friendly, courteous, and outstanding. He went out of his way to explain things on the menu as well as to insure that we had an excellent experience. I would highly, highly recommend this restaurant to anyone! I cant wait to go back :

We organized a graduation brunch in a private room and it was fantastic. The decorations were lovely and the food was delicious. The staff was attentive and accommodating despite being short-staffed during this busy season. I highly recommend Lucy for any group dining occasions!

I enjoy coming here before a show at Comedy Works. The menu isn't extensive, but the food is good. It would be nice to see daily or weekly specials offered. The service is excellent - quick and friendly.

The food at this restaurant is fantastic. I ordered the roasted salmon cooked to medium doneness and was pleasantly surprised by how perfectly it was cooked with a flaky texture. The seasoned potatoes at the bottom paired well with the salmon. However, I found the grapefruit sauce to be a bit off when combined with the dish. It could be improved by being more savory to better complement the salmon.
