Yanni's - Greenwood Village

Had an amazing birthday party at Yanni’s last night. Our gracious host served us each an ouzo to accompany the delicious menu I’d planned with him. Exceptional Greek cuisine. Excellent wine list. The appetizers were so yummy that I barely had room for the hearty sized main dish. And the main dishes didn’t disappoint. I took the leftovers home, of course, and sent a pice of baklava home with each guest. We all enjoyed the evening and will return to this restaurant!

I came on mother's day so do pay mind to that fact. I ordered the octopus which I enjoyed fully, but in my party we had ordered lamb which was not fully cooked through. Also after ordering the food we promptly got our appetizers, but our main meals took another hour to arrive. Good food just long wait times and some other odd things.

We love Yanni’s. Yanni, the owner of this Greek restaurant greets everyone warmly and makes you feel as though you’re home. The service is great and the food is amazing, and if for any reason it’s not to your perfection they make it right immediately. We always have a great time and plan to continue enjoying Yanni’s as long as he continues to serve up great Greek food.

Great service when just popping in to place a take out order. Gave me a seat at the bar and good beer while I waited. You can see this place has a lot of regulars because the staff knew their customers very well. Just moved into the neighborhood and will come back to try more. Pork souvlaki was delicious along with the large slice of Spanakopita.
