Molly Butler Lodge - Greer

The menu resembles that of a typical steakhouse, and we ordered two ribeye dishes. Unfortunately, the quality of the meat did not match that of other steakhouses we’ve frequented in the same price range. During our visit, the meals were merely satisfactory and didn't quite live up to the upscale ambiance they’ve created. That being said, if you find yourself in Greer, this restaurant is a must-visit. The staff is fantastic, and the scenic views provide a lovely backdrop for a memorable dining experience. Be sure to make reservations and call ahead to confirm their hours, as they can vary with the seasons.

The restaurant was a bit understaffed, but their warm hospitality more than made up for it. The service was excellent, and we loved the friendly atmosphere along with the delicious food. We appreciated that they didn't rush us when we stayed to chat for a while. I highly recommend this place! Plus, the beautiful drive there adds to a perfect date with my partner.

I couldn’t tell if the bartender was having an off day as well, but her attitude was uncalled for. When I inquired about a specific drink (which wasn’t anything unique), she simply stared at me and handed me a menu without saying a word. When I picked a couple of drinks from the menu, she had to look up the recipe for one of them. A couple sitting at the bar mentioned that they didn’t find the bartender particularly friendly either; personally, I thought she came across as quite unfriendly. The restaurant has outdoor seating, but it’s not covered. Unfortunately, since it was raining, we weren't able to take advantage of it, which was disappointing because there’s a nice view across the street. The next time I'm in Greer, I think I will either return to the Rendezvous Diner or try Edelweiss Resort and Restaurant, which I've heard positive reviews about.

We were invited to join family to meet up in Greer and have lunch. We walked into a rustic and cozy place and felt right at home. With spectacular view, the servers were welcoming and prompt, the atmosphere was calm and had plenty of room. I orderedthe Angus burger and onion rings. My wife ordered their ham and cheese. We also had chicken wings. I could have eaten thereall day. Everything we ate was marvelous and delicious. Worth a trip out to enjoy a meal with friends and family and get awayfrom the hustle and bustle.

Amazing experience! Our family can't remember the last time we ate such good food at a restaurant. We are still talking about how good it was days later. My son had the chicken strips, which are not ordinary at all. I had the chili and it is to diefor...spicy and lots of beef. The beer on tap was great and the cocktails are top notch. Out of this world good.
