Publix Super Market At Thornblade

The gentleman in the seafood and meat section was amazing! I hate that I didn 't get his name. He went above and beyond to make my experience incredible. I love Good People and he was definately one of them. If I 'm not mistaken....I detexted a northern accent

I don't do much of my grocery shopping at Publix,Tho its a very nice,clean,well organized store. Its still a little too expensive.I mainly love their pharmacy. They always keep/have ALL the important meds my kids parents need. I never have to wait on BACK ORDERS

I have shopped at this Publix in my neighborhood for years!!! It's in a majority white area and sometimes I would receive different treatment. Tonight I experienced pure racism and disrespect!!! Publix had a price tag in the wrong location and at the self checkout I explained it to the cashier named Karen. She asked me to bring the tag and I did. She condescendingly said well if you read it says whatever it says in fine print. I explained there are tags all over the section, I'm not reading the fine print when it's in front of all the merchandise. I asked for the manager, whomever the lady was on duty. She gave an attitude and same the same thing. I asked for her manager and he comes with an attitude. I explained that I have a college degree and I can read. I have been a manager for years and know what customer service is. So, he finally agrees with an attitude, but it took 5 minutes for them to decide who was going to put their authorization number in. For future reference, there are people of color, black people that are successful. I'm not trying to get over and they are more black people moving into this white area!!! All black people are not dumb and poor!!!!! In your eyes maybe so!!!!

This visit was not the, Where shopping is a Pleasure , visit. I had an online deli order scheduled to pick up at 1pm, for a family member(1 whole sub a spinach wrap). I got to the deli 5 minutes after 1, and my order wasn 't in the pickup case. I asked a man behind the counter if he 'd check to make sure it went through properly. He asked 2 other ladies if they had my order, He said yes and walked off. Long story short, I watched several people walk up and get a sub made leave in the 20 minutes it took for another lady to come and make the sandwiches that were ordered earlier.

I really love Publix! I only wish we had one closer to Michigan. The employees are friendly and welcoming, and the stores are well-stocked, clean, and just a great place to shop for groceries.
