Pizza so you can only find in neapel, but in the best pizzeria. also the pasta is delicious, do not miss this place when they visit grenoble

I went last week with a group of 9 people to celebrate my friend's birthday. we made the reservation and 3 of us arrived on time. we bought a cake in a patisserie near the restaurant, because we wanted to sing happy birthday....Nextly, the man who received us asked about the permission to bring the cake? , we answered that we didn't know we had to do it, and we apologized. we explained to him that it was our friend's birthday and that we were new in the city. he just said ironic: I'm sorry, now it's too late to offer no solution. After 5 minutes, a dame approached us and told us if they want to sing happy birthday, they must pay 2 euro per person, it is a tax of the restaurants. Of course we could understand the reasons why the owners of the restaurant wanted to apply this stupid rule with us, but also they were very rude and treated us terrible. the birthday child came after this huge problem, and she didn't know all the situation, but she could feel the bad manage and keeping the waiter. the food was delicious, but the whole experience was terrible and I never came back. they should give a lection about how to treat customers because they have no idea what is good customer service.

We decided to come here after looking for a restaurant on trip advisor whilst in Grenoble. We arrived at around 1230 there was one table left luckily for us. We had wonderful service, both members of staff that served us were more than happy...to explain in English and recommend us things including a lovely wine to go with our pizzas (and it was the cheapest one! We had the most incredible pizzas and we have travelled alot! These were so moist and just so, so tasty. We also had dessert which we never normally do the rum cake is incredible!!! DEFINITELY would return when next I'm Grenoble.

Pros: Excellent pizza! Great wine choice Very good location right by the river Cons: Slow service due to understaffing there were just 2 waitresses in a restaurant full of people. Abysmal choice of beer
