L'Envie des mets - Grenoble

Very repeatable! absolutely! do not stop in grenoble without eating here! the service was great and eating to die for!

This is a charming neighboring restaurant. the quality of eating and weeping was excellent. we are usually not attracted by the Dessert menu, but here the desserts are spectacular. Not too sweet but difficult to fit with a creativity.

We enjoyed this business meeting with German, Italian and British colleagues who have discovered this small but charming restaurant in a lively place of the city. the chef cooks fresh food and obviously has a great talent. the waiter is professional and very friendly. the wee are good and at affordable prices. In summary, we have received a really good meal at a price that is hard to believe when comparing with many others. we will say again, our director.

Lunch with a friends,! 8 persons served in a somber, sober but DULL room, the chef salutes us ....but the kitchen radio is LOUD, the employees talk at the bar ,the waitress/owner ? in jeans and sweater like a pizzeria ,has boots clicking on the wooden...floor for the whole meal..... the mise en bouche is a bouchee of flan, ok, the carpaccio with its eclair fileld with mushroom brunoise ? euh euh ! the pichet of wien coems from teh bottom of teh barrel a nd is NOT acceptable, thick and tasteless, she changes it.!!! .the main course being 'joue de boeuf ' at 32 e a menu ... bas morceau! is tender with bitter cherries,a good gratin portion , the gratin de framboises comes with still FROZEN fruit !!!!!! disappointing,!!!!! some good points but the amiable young chef must improve....teh style for that price of menu !.

The restaurant is quite small but offers you homely atmoshere. Steaks were fantastic, waiter helps you with wine offer.
