Barley Sprout is a must stop location when going to down town Gresham . The restaurant is so great inside , accompanied with a stage that has lively performances , plants , tons of pizza , a projector screen , and even a gorgeous fish tank ! It's such a friendly space and the pizza is extremely flavorsome . I tent to get a slice or two $6 each and a drink . The blackberry plumb cider is delectable and the pizza sauce is sweet and so tasty . Not to mention I always tend to get welcoming and really kind service when visiting. We dined at this restaurant for dinner a few nights ago. The live music was excessively loud, making it difficult to hear each other speak. The veggie pizza was supposed to contain spinach, but instead, the spinach was simply placed on top of the pizza and was uncooked. We waited 80 minutes for just one pizza after ordering. We were embarrassed to have brought our friends to this establishment. The staff appeared disinterested. Overall, it was a terrible experience. Chef David's pizza is simply the best. The petite tomatoes added a delicious touch to my guilty pleasure toppings of pepperoni and bacon, with the perfect balance of acidity. Chef David outshines even the Iron Chef and Triple Threat. I will definitely be ordering again for game day. Uhru. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I tried this restaurant a few years ago and it was wonderful. However, during my recent visit, the experience wasn't as good. The pineapple on our pizza was fermented, giving it an alcohol-like taste. The soda machine mixtures were either too fizzy or too syrupy. The staff didn't seem very attentive and customers were waiting impatiently for their food. Some people who arrived after us were served before us, which was frustrating. Despite this disappointing visit, I believe the restaurant has potential to improve, as they have excelled in the past. I will give them another chance and may update my review in the future.
