Michelangelo's Coffee House

Went in for a coffee since I hadn't tried it yet. Got the Grasshopper Mocha and the carrot cake. The Grasshopper could have been a touch more minty and chocolatey, but not bad. However, I do tend to like stronger drinks, and it would have been very good if it were a touch thicker. The carrot cake is so worth it. It's a chonker and worth every calorie. If I could ever find the recipe for it, I'd be pretty satisfied with what I've done in life. Also, can't forget to mention the nice staff and quick service.

Nice place to relax with some coffee and pastry after the farmers market.

Stopped in on several occasions when visiting Madison. In all respects, this is a great little coffee house it clearly has the other one that is located right around the corner beat on all levels.

Bad experience with a rude barista that is hopefully not representative of the establishment. Had a latte made, she forgot the vanilla (no big deal). Informed her that she forgot the vanilla. Instead of remaking the drink( vanilla has to go in before the espresso) she simply dumped some on top of the drink and told me to stir it around.. Stirring a latte effectively ruins the microfoam. Again. Just a bad Batista . I might try it again in hopes of a more friendly staff

On a busy Saturday morning we were in a line out the door, but don’t let that deter you! It moved fast and our coffee came up quick. Two cold brews and they were delicious. We added our own cream n sugar and I appreciated that they keep their creamers in the fridge. The atmosphere was great too, lots of fun art.
