Nani - Greshamville

Came to this restaurant at around 2Pm Tuesday (Not busy at all . I ordered Shrimp crepe gave me pork crepe instead. Ordered BBQ platter and it never came and charged me $40 for the crab i didn't get. what a joke :

Last time I was there was about 10 years ago and after 2-3 tries decided I to give up on it. I heard some positive reviews lately and wanted to give it another try. Peking Duck 4/5, lobster 4/5, shrimp chive dumpling 2/5, shrimp crepe 3/5, wrapped fried donut 4/5, pan fried pork and veg Bun 2/5, coconut pudding 4/5, green beans 3/5, sticky rice wrap 3/5, meatball 4/5, Montu bread 3/5. Overall I think it has improved a lot but still not comparable to chicago Dim sum. However, you get dishes that are decent and can’t find anywhere else in Madison so I would go again if I had a craving and didn’t feel like driving to Chicago.

I was pretty regular at Takumi's (Japanese restaurant bought by/combined with Nani) for years. They kept the sushi staff/menu and the Hibachi when merged, which I'm ecstatic about. I haven't tried the other dishes outside of the Takumi menu, but what I have had is still as tasty as before with a nicer, updated environment.
