Ground Pat'i - Gretna

I recently tried the burger at this restaurant and it was the best I've ever had. I ordered it through Uber Eats, but now I'm excited to visit the restaurant in person to experience the service and ambiance. I would easily give this place 5 stars based solely on the burger. I'm looking forward to trying more items from the menu.

The burger was extremely messy and overcooked to the point of being inedible. The bacon and cheese fries were tasty, but lacking in bacon. The service was exceptionally fast, however, the booth was damp.

Oh yeah, Let's Do the Time Warp Again! This restaurant has a cool late 70's to early 80's folksy kitsch design that makes it awesome for a quick flashback to old school vibes. The food may not be as great as the ambiance, but they have some solid menu items, especially their burgers. I wouldn't recommend the BBQ brisket though, as there are better options available at a nearby place for a similar price. Overall, it's a decent spot for affordable food, ranging from mediocre to pretty good depending on what you order. They also offer nicely priced beers, making it a good value overall. Best place to get a good burger! There are all kinds to order. Their grilled chicken sandwich is the best I've ever had. Waitress' are very attentive. They know us and have our usual table ready with our drinks when we walk in. And they usually know what our order is. Baked potato and chili is wonderful also. And the peanuts they give you to snack on while you wait is nice. The one in Kenner doesn't give you peanuts. You have to buy them.

Everything was great. My burger was cooked as requested. This is the Smokin Ring Pati. It was sooooo good the bbq sauce, cheese, and bacon went perfectly. This is one of my go to spots when I can't decide on what I want. A for sure fill up.
