Stopped in for lunch before going to a winery. Huge menu and good service, but we got the duck bhana, chicken curry, and chicken wings and they were all very overcooked.
Finally time to rate. After eating Indian food internationally for the last 30 years including South India, I honestly have to tell you that this is one the best Indian restaurants you might experience. The food is authentic and plenty. The staff is always friendly and courteous even when really busy. The menu contains besides the usual dishes many vegetarian options which are purely delicious. Prices are OK for Luxembourg.
Overly attentive service which could have been due to us being the only table, otherwise very polite and friendly people. The general take away from this experience was that a lot of the dishes lacked flavour. We got free papadums with some sauces which was a plus. The onion Baji were just 2 big discs and weren't very crispy. The paneer pakora was alright but once again was flavourless. As far as mains go, the only complaint i had was that the lamb was often chewy, other than that the sauces tasted great. The spiced rice tasted the same as regular white rice. The portions were big, but that's standard for every indian restaurant. Sadly, this restaurant compares poorly to all the other Indian/Nepalese restaurants I've eaten at.
Nice, smiling, helpful staff. Chef is pleased to adapt dishes for one of our party with allergies. the best birianie I cost, fresh flavor and many different sweets. everything served in metal dishes over T-lights. highly recommended.
