Incredible food. The menu is limited to chefs choice...so everything tastes amazing! The portions are more than generous. Bookings are essential and beware that some items may be sold out by the end of the night. I had fall-of-the-bone honey glazed ribs which my fellow diners thoroughly enjoyed as well. For dessert I ordered a chocolate fondant, although the creme brulee and Amarula sundae looked delicious. We did wait a while for the food; however, this restaurant comes highly recommended for a reason. A true Greyton gem.

Without a doubt the best ribs in the Western Cape! Tender and juicy finger licking good! The ambiance is amazing with all the candles and the fire place. The owner really gives personal attention to all the tables. You can’t come to Greyton without having dinner at Abbey Rose.

Malay lamb curry was wonderfully flavorful, with soft and delicious lamb and potatoes. My only suggestion would be to serve yellow rice, perhaps with raisins, in keeping with the Malay style. Chicken livers were tasty. Chocolate fondant dessert was one of the best ever. Will certainly make a repeat visit one day.
