Closed - Griffin

First, this my second time coming to this location both times I’ve not enjoyed. The first time my potato was cold they didn’t do anything but throw it back in the microwave. This recent time, I walked in wasn’t greeted or anything. The employee just walked to the back and starred at me till I ordered. Still no acknowledgement or anything just “how I’m paying “is all I really got out of him. My potato wasn’t to my expectations at all. Barely any bacon or cheese and no chives. I won’t be spending my money here, I’ll continue to go all the way to Jonesboro .

Went in with some friends one afternoon bc we had heard great things about it. Employees were quiet. Not very attentive. I got a philly potato, my friends got a Buffalo and a breakfast potato. Waited 30 minutes while we waited we could hear them microwaving our potatoes. Once we got them we left and went to a nearby park only to find hairs in our food and on our boxes (not our own) my steak was so chewy that i couldnt finish it. None of us finished our potatoes. They definitely need to be more cleanly and i honestly expected more than i microwaved potato that i could have made by myself at home. Really disappointed with my experience.

I was excited and really wanted to love this place, but it falls far, far short of any reasonable expectation. I would have to advise anyone to avoid dining here. The actual potatoes my wife and I had were good (although it's hard to mess up baking a potato) and the portion sizes were enormous... however, the chopped vegetables on our potatoes were questionable, and actually upset BOTH our stomachs. We even had to ask them to microwave the food again because it was only microwaved to lukewarm. The service was slow, sloppy, and the staff member who served us opened my beer bottle WITH HIS TEETH. You didn't misread that he pulled the bottom of his t shirt over the bottle cap and opened my beer with his teeth. Even for a start up, this place has left us feeling very disappointed. I am apprehensive regarding cleanliness, food safety and food prep. The staff member was friendly and the empty dining room was clean, but sadly, the food is suspect.

This is probably in the top three restaurants in Griffin. The staff was amazing and so kind. The place is so clean. When i looked at the menu online before going, i thought the prices were pretty normal… However when i got my food and saw how huge of a portion it was I realize this place is REALLY affordable. My pulled pork potato is probably two meals or more. I honestly can’t believe they weren’t busier or had more reviews. This place is a MUST TRY! The pulled pork potato is usually my go to at bbq restaurants and this is by the best one i’ve ever had. I started writing this review the second i closed my box because it blew me away!This place deserves so much success!

Very nice staff. Large potatoes. We ordered our meal to go. Sadly drove 20 minutes home and found the butter/ sour cream potato I ordered was completely plain and no condiments in the bag.
