Feedback gevenBeautiful atmosphere, absolutely phenomenal, real Italian cuisine. we went on Friday without booking to lunch and found space for us. I loved it!
Wow, this place is worth pulling to griffith. a place where the food corresponds to the hype and that is the thing that there is no hype. simpleness is her mantra, but they do it with an elegance and a lack of pretense that reminds me of the days before we became all the food snobs. small table menu, small wine list. Italian, without trying too hard. only the best Italian I've eaten in a decade.
Amazing lunch. around 2.30 a.m. dived to late lunch and had friendly service and was not made to feel as if they were in a hurry to kick me despite closing around 15 a.m. the handmade pasta was perfectly dental and the ragu was perfectly balanced and generously proportional. the accompanying part yarran pinot grigio was a beautiful sunny drop that was wonderfully suited. the sequence of a perfectly made macchiato and a generous plate of lemon fenced crostoli makes me wish that this was my sydney local and I know that I definitely come back to zecce when I visit griffith next. that's worth it and then some. also bought some of their dry pasta to take home which I have not yet broken out, but I am quite sure will live up to the expectations! go there and enjoy them real Italian aromas.
I just wish I could give 6 stars on Saturday for our culinary experience. a very pleasant young lady named maddie waited for our table of four not so young diners, at our suggestion maddie took the responsibility for our menu and we were presented with a fantastic and varied selection of diners. the entire experience was brilliant and we are now looking forward to traveling to griffith again with more friends. eric and ruth
Always good!Only suggestion, I think they need to work a bit more around the desserts.
