Le Relais des Coches - Grimaud

We had the langustino provincial and they were exceptionalWe wanted to order another one, but the plate is so big, so there was no room.

We sit down for lunch and 10 minutes goes by where all we get is a drinks menu. Not a great start but we're looking forward to a delicious meal. Or so we thought. Lunch arrives and my friend very accurately describes our first impression of her Penne (Pasta) Bolognese: "Is this a joke?" Priced at €14,50 all that is served is a small plate of pasta penne with just a splash of bolognese. A 10-year old could literally have done a better job. On top of that we were charged €7,50 for any large (500ml) coke, sprite etc. Price does not match size nor quality at Le Relais des Coches and they have certainly mastered the art of charging more for less.

Very good food, best price and quality.The pizza was perfect- very good tast.The waiter Laura was very nice and friendly. In the beginning she asked us two times if we like to eat or only to drink. After this statement "eat". Everything was very welcome and attentive.Very nice service on this perfect place.

When the food eventually came it was okay - but service was terrible. Had to wait ages for even anyone to recognise we were there. Tables rammed together to maximise custom but no where near the staff to cope when it was even quarter full. It was a lovely spot but it was overpriced and generally poor.

Came here for a relaxed coffee out of the heat. we had a really welcoming waitress bring us to our seats overlooking the waterways and walkways. they have redorated recently i think as everything is white and serene. coffee is exoensive though as is everywhere in the area.
