Looking for our Ostfriesensofa we went to the historic compagniehaus at lunchtime. The house is of 1802, and in the menu you could also read a lot. The task of the Compagniehaus was to supply the colonists with food and drink products, there was also a brewery, a bakery, a gene incineration and the fight. I ordered calf carving with fries and salad, my wife Matjestartar. That was a real calf carving, and not only by Viennese type of pork. The plate was overcrowded by the sliced carving and the meat tender and tasty. The Tatar from the Matjes, two cups and also roast potatoes, also a very good choice.
