I wanted meat with the famous Lardo di Colonnata and it wasn't available (plate was in standard menu). They don't have any choice of beer. Meat was not good: it had to many nerves, so it was quite stiff; taste was nothing special. Positive thing is that the staff is very kind and nice. For the quality they are serving at the moment, the price is too high. unfortunately I won't stop there again.
Historical restaurant with typical dishes of Maremma and fresh homemade pasta. good and varied the mixed appetizer will be held, excellent the gnocchi with porcini and truffle and tortelli al ragù. homemade desserts on average. to mention a variegated wine paper especially of the territory with excellent labels and the kindness and professionalism of the waitress. recommended recommended
We was for a lunch. All tables are occupied, we waiting a table for a 15 minutes. In general, food is simple but quite good. Salads and antipastos are sizeable, especially salato di polpo. I took chicken local style, it was spicy, but tasty. Good pastas and very unexpensive. We paid for 3 with beers, water, small carafe of wine only 60 euro! Just 10 minutes by car from centre of Grosseto in direction of Siena and Scansano.
Our initial reaction to arriving here was the smiles from the chefs as you walk past the kitchen and then the smile from our waitress, they knew what we were in for, a pasta course of wild boar for me and king prawns for my wife were fabulous but the main course somehow managed to exceed this, king prawns and calamari along with lamb chops were perfectly cooked and a cheesecake to share finished a very enjoyable evening also the house wine needs comments as the frizzante and red were very drinkable, we shall make this our return to restaurant before flying home.
