Pita Hut - Groveland

Got out of work after 9pm. Wanted some pizza but the only thing open was fast food restaurants. I have past this place on my way home many times but never stopped.Well today I stopped, it looks like a shack from the road.Happily looks are deceiving. I was greeted by a warm smile and a kind person who took my order. I ordered the Gyro with fries and a drink. She made the Gyro and fries fresh. It was delicious. Not a sit down gourmet restaraunt by any means. But for the price and what I ate. It earned its 5 stars. I mentioned it was my first time there. So she gave me a piece of Honey Cake which was made fresh she stated. It was good.I will be returning to try other things on the menu. Sorry didn't think to take any pics.

This gyro was insanely filled! There isn’t a place anywhere near hear who will give you a gyro this delicious and this filled. The meat was so juicy and seasoned it was perfect. The lady and I assume daughter? We’re so freaking nice ! They are genuine people and I love genuine people. She was so nice to me as it was my first time there and I can’t wait to go back and get another gyro. There is a reason this place is the highest rated on google. Because it’s the best. I’m from Chicago and I go to a lot of gyro places but this one is the best I ever had. The honey cake she gave me was absolutely incredible I can go back and just get desert at night for another one of them.

Pretty good food and flavorful. Obviously, the place is a little run down, and it takes a while to get your food, we ordered 8 things, and it took well over 20 minutes.Food: 4/5
