You guys i'm serious when i say this is the first review i've ever written about anything but it felt like this was very important to post. i was born and raised in arizona and i've been living in augusta for almost a year now. i've missed mexican food like crazy since i moved away and i haven't been able to find one place that i like. i've tried seven or eight different mexican restaurants all throughout the augusta area and two have been so bad that they made me throw up. i went to one place a few weeks ago and swore i was done with the mexican food down here after that experience. i'm so glad i found this place and gave it a shot because it is hands down the BEST mexican food in the area and the restaurant that tastes the most like arizona mexican food. i almost cried cause i was so happy that my husband and i FINALLY found a place that is worth coming back and eating at. all of the dine in mexican restaurants we've been to so far have had the exact same salsa which basically just tastes like watered down tomato paste. the fact that this place actually had cilantro onion IN their salsa was a good sign right from the get-go. oh also they brought out warm chips which was another good sign. we ended up getting their birria tacos asada street tacos (which were 10/10) and we're so excited to go back and taste what else this place has to offer! we really want to try their fajitas guacamole next cause they look amazing. we ate here yesterday and my husband is stillllllll talking about how good his birria tacos were! take it from two people who actually know what good mexican food is supposed to taste like and go to this restaurant over any other mexican restaurant!!! you'll thank me later
I don't recommend the Tacos Infernos. They are below medium in terms of hot and they look gross and taste wierd... what on earth?
Yeah I should have ran when they asked did I want a flour or corn tortilla for my birria tacos.. too much fat and no flavor or seasonings...just greasy and another of cilantro to make it look nice..server not prompt and seemed distracted with other things..no menu when we were seated..has to ask for napkins.. mojito was Def not tasty.my BF Nachos he days were Garbage .won't be backYikes you seem upset.. looks like the exact problem your worried about my spelling instead of your food.. learn how to take criticism AND YOU GET BACK TO ME
Arrived at 10 because it says it closes at 1030. They said they close at 10 during the week even though the only day not advertised closing at 1030 is Sunday which says at 9. We were really hungry and really looking forward to grabbing a quick bite. Very disappointed. Owner response was learn how to read How immensely rude Update Google, don't blame someone who drove 30 minutes to get a quick bite because the advertising is incorrect.Because I always give a place at least 3 attempts we ended up visiting on 2 additional times since first attempt to dine. The staff is friendly and they offer endless refills. We have lived in Florida and California and had an expectation for certain meals. The food was decent but not as expected. As an appetizer we ordered the BBQ wings( not Mexican food) which were not seasoned chicken wings fried with BBQ sauce poured in top. The waiter got it removed from our bill because we took one bite and could not eat any more. The cheese dip lacked the creaminess I'm accustomed to and the other meals we ordered did not hone in on the flavors I'm accustomed to enjoying with Mexican or central American cuisine.
