Amongst the best egg rolls in the area. While the General Tso 's Chicken was good, there was nothing hot and spicy about it. Either I 'll refry it with some red pepper flakes or try the kung pao chicken next. Parking: Dumb shared lot with other businesses
Great locally owned restaurant with traditional Chinese takeout
Overpriced food, staff have nasty attitude when you say so AND the Chinese food restaurant Great Wall has better food and allows you to customize your meal like a normal restaurant (they don’t try to force a side or ingredient on you at all). Lady was demanding we order 4 items and a side dish for a total of nearly $100. We aren’t even eating in so it’s not like we are taking a table or asking you to clean up after us. Lady that answered the phone had the audacity to say “nobody calls to order here and cancels;” well clearly they do because we did. We canceled after we were told an unacceptable total which was less than 5 minutes after ordering/prior to payment which means no food should’ve been in preparation anyway. When we called back with the credit card ready the lady didn’t want to verbally confirm what we ordered and just wanted our money real fast without saying the total. Good thing we asked because it was ridiculously expensive. Pro tip, American dollars are not yen! You have been around long enough to know that! We almost ordered there and so glad the lady hung up while we were debating because we ordered from Great Wall just down the street and man it was good!!!!! First time I ever finished an entire carton of egg fried rice—which is another thing, this lady didn’t want to allow us to customize our order. Another tip for the owner: at most American restaurants you can substitute your side dish no issue. Great Wall has caught on and that’s what we did, got our food for a better price, staff are 1000x better in customer service there too. The lady that answers the phone here for these people doesn’t need to be talking to anyone with her nasty attitude and ugly personality. So glad we tried Great Wall, will be ordering there from now on. Better prices and better food, not even kidding or just saying. You’ll devour Great Wall! Like someone else said, the staff being nasty here wasn’t an issue when their food was reasonably priced for the fast food that it is. Which brings us to our final tip for the owner: Chinese American food is more like fast food. Nobody is going to be full on rice so don’t charge like you’re cooking a steak, mashed potatoes, and a side of greens. Your staff being horrendous won’t be as big of an issue if you fix your prices.
I enjoy their Singapore noodles. They are my go to when I'm craving them. They are very kind and fast service.
