Tokyo Cafe In New

Passed the small restaurant multiple times and finally got the chance to order some sushi. Love the spicy combo for take out and it is beyond expectation! Fresh and yummy. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff also. Cash only but they have an ATM inside.

Great food, great environment, and service. The only problem is that they’re not open on Mondays!

Literally the greatest Japanese restaurant in the world is hidden here as a hole in the wall in Newington, CT. It’s like finding Hatori-hanzo steel at the trailer park. A must visit.

It is a quiet little place, I would say it is a hidden gem. The food is great, and for the price we'll worth it. Only suggestion I would have it to make the cash only sign bigger or let the customer know ahead of time. Other than that it was a great spot to eat!

You have to use cash here so I only took out a $20. I’m down on cash right now so I could only get one meal and I really wanted to try the Japanese soda they had but I didn’t have enough. The lady at the front desk said it was on the house. This is my second time coming here and I always feel welcome and cared for. This is my way of giving back ig. Thanks again. I’ll try to have the full amount next time
