Dix Hills Diner - gton Station

Wednesday evening. Walk in door. 2 uncleared tables dirty plates etc.. Customers long gone on way to being seated at ours. Not an appealing way to start . Waitress was good, food was good..I will ALWAYS be fair. Ladies room was NOT clean and smelled DISGUSTING!!!!!! Prices were SUPER heavy $30 for two KIDS chicken tenders and fries! $27.95 for a roast CHICKEN dinner 1 breast, 1 thigh..for Mom an 80+ year old....no senior menu/discount SPLIT 2 apps, 1 dessert, NO main courses..Bill plus 25% tip.. $173. Dirty tables and exorbitant prices, these diners are going to put themselves out of business. One and done.

Had the most delicious homemade chicken burger with a Greek side salad. Everything was so fresh and so delicious! Usually when you go to a dinner you get disgusting pink hard tomatoes, not here, it was the reddest, freshest tomato I have seen in a long time on my burger along with fresh cucumbers , pickled onions, feta cheese, and an incredible seeded bun…..yummmm! My side salad was so beautifully put together with diced cucumbers, little tomatoes, Greek olives, feta cheese, sliced onion and delicious dressing. The burger came with two super crispy, real onion, onion rings, delish!!! I am not a diner fan, but this one I will be coming back to many times over.That was just my meal, I will be on here way too long discussing everyone else’s meals, which were all amazing as well.

Great food. Delicious! ,Excellent service!I was in a rush and forgot my soda. I believe the manager brought it to my car.Absolutely great pleace!!!

Hands down best diner in our area, possibly all of long island..Food is excellent and comes out unusually fast lol.. check em out
