Unhealthy cook going in and out of kitchen without hat food tasteless and. Super Slow. Dirty dishes serving cappuccino. We will never comeback. People be adviced.
We were really lucky to find Cafe Providencia on Chapultapec, when we were out walking on a Sunday morning. We have had breakfast there on our last two trips to Guadalajara. The open air restaurant offers fresh, nicely prepared food, served by a friendly, efficient...staff. Their Chilequilles are probably the most artfully prepared and best tasting we have ever had. We were lucky to have Noel as our server on both visits. He has a cute smile, he is friendly and gives amazing service.
Best breakfast and brunch option in GDL Every year i go to Gdl on business and one of the things i anticipate the most is breakfast at cafe Providencia. Their design is crazy but funny. Those crazy colored cows are a catchy focal point, the...tables are half hidden in between the leafy plants and some antique statues, it's just a pleasure to be there. They have everything to make me happy! Fried eggs with 2 mexican traditional salsas (red and green), frijoles sprinkled with fresh cheese, spicy chilaquiles, crunchy warm bread ralls, fresh cold orange juice and delicious refills of well brewed latte or capuccino what else can you desire??? It fills like someone has been living at your place for 10 years specifically to study, what you like to have for breakfast! Like real home cooked meal, hearty, wholesome and incredibly delicious. Another advantage is they have free wi fi and you can take a morning call meeting from shady green corner, enjoying your morning with no rush and stress. The desserts (cakes and pies and pancakes) are good as well, but in most cases i couldn't move because of overeating... They have fruit and cereal bar for morning as well. Nothing in particular, but good to have from time to time option. If you show up for breakfast before 11, you get a discount. The prices are definitely higher than average in Gdl, but every time it's worth it. We also went there a night, but the options were burgers, sandwiches, and they tasted nothing like the heavenly good food of the morning. So, only a morning place.
We had breakfast there and everything was delicious, good coffee, breakfast, bread and service: it is a good place if they don't know where they go.
