This is a large, brightly lit typical no frills restaurant where families eat all the time. That being said, the food is good but not very good. We ordered the Antipasto Misto Della Casa to share which, though enormous consists of many pieces of toasted bread one with a not very good pork based pate, one with chopped tomatoes, some lesser prosciutto, etc. you get the idea very filling but we didn't enjoy and left most. The mains were better: I had the Scaloppine of Veal served with a lemon sauce that was very good and plentiful and my partner had Veal in the oven with potatoes served typically with rosemary that was reasonably good, a side dish of Cicoria Saltata that is a seasonal bitter chicory ubiquitous at this time of year. We also had a fairly good bottle of wine. Good and friendly service too.
We always dine here when visiting Umbria. The food is superb with wine and service to match. The only small blip was that the mixed grill that we love was no longer on the menu Highly recommend.
Very abundant portions. is located meters from the sanctuary of the hill. it will not be as much as the design, closer to a canteen than to an intimate restaurant (the beginning room style big years and with a lot of covered) but it is really worth it. good service too.
But really ugly at a certain level, it seems a welcoming structure for pilgrims in the middle of a cafeteria and a hostel. tables and chairs of different types, a refectory floor of a convent and brick walls that transmit sadness to the only look at them. Fortunately, however, that food is all another music, abundant and well-associated appetizers, of the first delicious and generous in the portions and meat in the grill and in the oven of excellent quality. the staff is kind and fast and eventually the memory that remains is absolutely positive. the price is very honest in my opinion given the quality of the meat served.
