Hotel Meisser Restaurant - Guarda

The second time in this place. First visit was ok with good quality local roast. Second time we arrived at 13:50 and were served with a menu only 12 minutes later. Why? Because from 14:00 they have different 'short' menu. Is it a scam or not ready to harass with full menu for late visitors? I don't know. In any case, low rating for long wait and inadequate service. As was said at the other point in Guarda, we have Swiss at the service you decide:

The Meisser hotel restaurant used to be a la carte, but they now serve only a set menu. I'm not sure if it's open for walks or whether they should go to the new restaurant at Meisser Lodge. The dining room of Meisser is very stylish and looks wonderful. The staff is very attentive and friendly. The food is wonderful, very tasty and has a local touch.

Unfortunately, this restaurant has changed hands at the end of the village! My husband and I were willing to give this new company a way we were in the past at Hotel Meisser. First, we were disturbed by two girls running around our table while we eat. Since none of the employees were willing to stop them, I had to do the job myself. Then when I asked to pay, I was not given an invoice to check before my card entered the machine. I had to insist on getting one. After all, when returning from the toilets the head waiter came right in front of me without apology. Besides, I would not recommend the salads because they are too expensive and come without sauce. The selection of foods is limited and not cheap. Customers who pay this kind of money should be allowed to eat in peace, this is the responsibility of the restaurant. Not the standard of Swiss historic hotels!

I was a guest for four nights. Each night I was served exceptional food. Preparation and presentation was beautiful. Service was attentive.

Wir hatten nur einen kleinen Salat zum Mittagessen. Der war gut mit allem, was man braucht. Die Bedienung war unterschiedlich kompetent und freundlich.Da wir nur wenig Ansprüche hatten, geht das in Ordnung, aber sicher ausbaubar.
