Very good place and it had a new upgrade with a more modern approach to customer service experience.
The only McDonald in Guarda. It is on the edge of the city, so it is especially for people with cars. I've been to this McDonald a lot. It's always clean, things are friendly. And the location is beautiful, especially in summer, if you can sit outside. There is also a McCafé so you can have a nice coffee and pastel de nata. McDonalds on Portugal has articles on the menu that McDonald does not offer in Spain, so it is always nice to have something else. I love McDonald applecake, they're the best. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed when I had breakfast here. I ordered what I thought was sausage and egg McMuffin (one of the best things about McDonald breakfast and it's absolutely delicious), it turns out to be bacon and egg McMuffin. How disappointing!!! Anyway, this is still a good McDonald.
Lol, four stars for a McDonald's? Let me qualify that by saying I'm only comparing it to the McDonald's I'm used to in the States. The McDonalds in Portugal are off the hook. Clean, modern looking with nice décor. I can drink a beer with their version of the Big Mac and it actually looks like it does in the menu pictures not the sloppy mess I'm used to back home. Again, not big on fast food joints but...
As with most stores of the franchise I found it clean and acceptably friendly. It has a lot of parking around it as well as a drive thru. The ordering panels were easily accessible. The toilets were a little below standard. Covid protocols were being applied. The food arrived fresh and hot. The drinks were cold. We sat outside as we did not have our covid certificates with us but it was pleasant and clean with umbrellas at the tables. It does have wifi. I will be back
