Wonderful bar, very friendly with many local craftsmen to choose and some good weine. very simple menu, but tasty-if we visited it was a selection of amazing tartizzas with different toppings and then a dish of the day, that was a rustic...ragout both were excellent. desserts of apple cake with salted caramel sauce and a chocolate mousse were also very good. the owners are welcome without being intrusive and there are often live music (which is very popular so that they charge 5 € per head-usual Friday evenings I think, but check them out if this is not their ding). the village is worth the trip alone - it is like in the time with an extraordinary church that dominates the center of the village, complete with gargoyles and incredibly ornate decoration. sitting outside in the evening sun a cold drink in this quiet beauty is resting self-definitely worth to find and enjoy!
This is not to miss when they are in the opposite. not always open, so check them first, but very friendly owners who are passionate about eating. the service can be slow as the food is cooked to order, but that is worth waiting. Eating served in the...bar, very rustic with good music. quelven is a small becauseer with a huge impressive church, which spills the old huts, so they can have a meal and then explore the village. I don't eat meat, so they cooked me, that were delicious. .
First time- a set bbq menu with band playing in the other room. nice food second time-walked in, were told by the owner we would have to pay 5€ each to listen to the band (which you couldnt get away from, and the music wasn't...our thing), we only went to eat there, and so went elsewhere. 10€ for two is too much on top of your food bill. havent been again as his attitude put us off.
Arrived in the bar we discovered a place of friendship and sharing a group of musicians sang and it was...More
