Hales Marina Resort - Guild

Great location near Chattanooga, providing a serene experience away from the hustle and bustle. I really enjoyed the unique "Redneck Bora Bora" concept with the floating cabins. As a Halloween enthusiast, I was thrilled to discover the haunted property, which is now a whiskey distillery! Don't forget to look out for River, the incredibly friendly docking cat—she's a warm and welcoming presence!

I've stayed here a few times and will definitely return. The staff is very friendly, the cabins are beautiful, and it's a very relaxing place.

That was our 2nd stay in Hales Bar! We love it here. We recommend to stay in the floating cabins. The staff is super friendly. We'll be back.

Awesome place to get away. Stayed numerous times and each time has been wonderful. The marina staff are top notch. Highly recommend. We call Hales Bar Marina our second home.

Place has a lot of potential but unfortunately they probably need to drop a huge load of cash on the place for maintenance and repairs. Staff was very friendly. We stayed in the land cabins. We were with another family in a cabin next to ours and that was hugely beneficial because the cabins inevitably lacked something like a working stove and oven or no toaster (just to name a few) but then the other cabin would have it. Haha. So it worked out for us and we had a great time. Between the 2 night stay, the haunted house, the full damn distillery tour and all the MERCH and whiskey we purchased we easily spent over $1000 with my family of 4 in 2 days time. Which I have no regrets about really it was fun and seriously loved all the staff.FYI the land cabins are essentially tiny houses so they’re very small. We were fine tho there was enough space. I feel they are priced a little high for what they are. Main complaint being they’re treated like an air bnb where you have to pay a $90 cleaning fee on top of the rental. But then you have to take your trash out (per the information we were given) wash dishes, and all that (kitchens are not stocked extremely well btw with enough dishes for all situations) but then unlike air bnb it’s not regulated by our reviews and ratings so they just don’t seem to be as clean and well maintained as they should be. So overall it needs work but we still had a great time and the staff we encountered were truly pleasant and helpful.
