Thatcher’s Restaurant at The Thatcher’s Hotel

We had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. Despite making a reservation on OpenTable for the following day, the restaurant was closed when we arrived. The staff member who greeted us suggested paying in cash, but the empty atmosphere made us feel uneasy, so we chose to dine elsewhere.

Thatchers has not received our booking via open table and the restaurant has been closed for a high-time day. the low ambience score was because the restaurant was set up for the show and we were disturbed by visitors and not everything else. the staff went out to find us a table and still fed us. the food was also super, large part, and the staff really friendly. I wouldn't have asked from the team anymore.

The low ambiance score was due to the setup for the event, which caused some disturbance from visitors. However, the staff made the effort to accommodate us and still provided great service. The food was delicious and portion sizes were generous. The staff were also very friendly and went above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable. Overall, we couldn't have asked for better service from the team that day.
