Feedback gevenWe were staying at the Pousada and so stayed in for dinner on our last night. I had the Rabbit and my wife had the Monkfish. The Rabbit was a huge portion and was excellent. The dessert was a buffet of several cakes, fruit salad, and other desserts all were good that we had. The surroundings are very pleasant in such a historic building.
My partner and I dined here while staying at this lovely Pousada, and were so pleased we went back the next night. It was a thoroughly indulgent experience. We were delighted by the attentive and courteous young waiting staff, the ambience, and most especially the food. The chef's greeting each night was a little gem of intense flavour. We chose main fish dishes of Monkfish medallion with clams, prawns and rice, and a seafood with black ink linguine, both perfectly cooked and flavoursome. Next night we had the green minho soup, the grilled veal with veggie lasagne, and the slow cooked kid with greens and waxy potatoes, which was divine. The dessert buffet is luxury itself, if you need any more. This is a wonderful restaurant for a special dinner.
