Edgewater Beach Golf Resort

View was absolutely stunning! Accommodations were wonderful and quiet. All the basics were included ;laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, paper towels and much more! We had sooooo much fun here! This was our second time staying here, but this time we stayed longer because we previously enjoyed it so. It's located in a convenient area with loads of shops and bars within walking distance, but with everything the resort offers, there's not much reason to venture too far. Our condo was equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals for our family and stocked with plenty of beach and pool toys for the kids. The cafe/restaurant, Oceans, offers lots of great food and drink choices that we totally took advantage of while hanging out at the pool, which my kids absolutely loved. We also took advantage of the Pavillion rentals poolside, which was pretty awesome. Overall, I would recommend this place if you and your family would like to have a comfortable, enjoyable vacation.

This is our 6th time staying at Edge Water. I will say, recently they are under new management and some things have changed. The price of parking and check out time. Oh yeah, we also had to sign a rental agreement and we have never done that before but it is what it is. I will say, there were inconsistencies with the rental agreement versus what was posted online. When we called bc we wanted what was posted online, the person on the phone was no help. We ended up asking to speak to a manager and he called us back. Thankfully the manager we spoke to did uphold what was online but we had to send him the screenshot. Like, it’s your website. With that being said, we are likely to return but no one likes a 9 am check out time. This time we stayed in a condo on the end, and it’s amazing! We have a wrap around balcony and the condo is gorgeous! For the most part, the condos have been nice, whether we are in a tower or on the golf side. Only once have we stayed in a condo that was not up to my liking. For the most part, we like it. The main pool is nice and big. I think the resort has like 10 pools.

My family has been staying at Edgewater Beach and Golf Resort (the villas) for well over 20 years. We’ve always enjoyed! This was our first time back since the pandemic, and we were mortified with our experience. Among all of us, we rented 7 condos which was tens of thousands of dollars. We didn’t mind it, because our experience had always been so nice. However, this time was horrible. 5 out of the 7 properties had issues. We didn’t have any air conditioning and it was so hot that we had to stay outside. When I called to ask for help, the representative who said his name was William Campbell, was beyond rude. He told us ultimately that it was not his problem that our air wasn’t working, told me that he was the only person working (which wasn’t true), and told me that he wasn’t sure if help was coming that night. Mind you, it’s July and HOT! I can go on and on, but I’ve never experienced such poor customer service. It’s obvious that something has changed with the management. Needless to say, after two decades, we will never return.

The air-conditioning went out around noon, and still nothing has been done to resolve this situation. It is now 9:18 pm, and it is 88 degrees in our room. We asked for another room, fans, or anything to help. No relief. The dishwasher was broke, and the dryer was as well. Read all the reviews recently as the management does not care. Please don't book here and have a horrible time.
