Sloop - Gulf Shores

The Sloop is a cozy little spot that was quite lively during our visit. It feels like a local favorite, and we were pleased to have discovered it. Our server was friendly, and the food was among the best we enjoyed throughout our trip to Gulf Shores. The cheesesteaks were particularly satisfying!

This cozy little spot is perfect for unwinding while enjoying some food or drinks. They have an extensive cocktail menu and feature live music in the evenings, all in a relaxed atmosphere. The staff were attentive and prompt, and the food was delicious. While parking is limited right in front, there are plenty of nearby options available.

Whenever we're in the GS area, we make it a point to ask locals for dining recommendations. Within just 24 hours, we heard "Sloops" mentioned as the go-to spot for a delicious Philly cheese steak. It certainly lived up to the hype! The hand-cut chips were also fantastic.

This place was great!! We went to watch Bama VS MTSU on 9/2 and the atmosphere is fantastic. Trust me there are TV's everywhere. No bad seat in the place. The staff is great. They work together and help one another out. Never have to wait for a drink or food. The food is also great. The boat of fries with cheez wiz and the chips and salsa with queso are amazing. Great burgers and yes I am about to say this. the Philly Cheesesteak was second best to Jim's in Philly. I was shocked it was so good. Trust me if you are visiting and are looking for a great place please try it out. We went last two nights were were there and will be back. Plus they let me put my soccer sticker on the door(FMEFC). 5 out of 5

We came here late on a Thursday evening after work and really enjoyed the food and friendly service!
