Feedback gevenThe hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating, and they helped my wife and me check in to our room quickly. The room was pleasant but fairly standard—nothing particularly remarkable about it. The gaming floor had a wide variety of slot and video poker machines, but the options for table games were somewhat limited. The cocktail waitresses were cheerful and generally prompt with service. The casino floor and restrooms were consistently being cleaned, which was a nice touch. Additionally, there are several restaurants and eateries on-site offering a good selection of food.
I had a pretty good experience, especially since I won. The rooms are decent, though they could benefit from some updates—perhaps swapping out the carpet and replacing the outdated wood décor. Everything appeared clean. I enjoyed the food during my visit. Overall, I would consider returning. Rooms: 4/5
As for dining, I advise against eating at the buffet on Monday evenings. At $27.99 per person, it was not worth it—none of us could eat anything. The food was awful, and even the desserts were disappointing. I’ve never encountered shrimp that was so soft and mushy; it was boiled poorly. The lettuce in the salad was also old. Do yourself a favor and choose a different place to eat!
Right down by the beach! This was the first casino of our trip. One of the managers stopped by to check on us and knew our names. She was really sweet and wished us luck. We were new rewards members, so we got $20 in play credit and $20 food credit, which was awesome! We spent our food credit on the buffet, and it was pretty good. The Italian bar was the worst one. It was as if the food had sat there for hours, and there was no attendant in that area. Every other section constantly had someone.
During my recent visit to the casino, I had a remarkable experience that I would like to share. Donavan Roberts, the assistant manager, proved to be an invaluable asset. He graciously assisted me with directions and provided essential information that enhanced my overall experience.I had the pleasure of dining at the C&G Grill, where Katelyn showcased exceptional skills in her role, seemingly as a supervisor. Her attention to detail and dedication to ensuring an enjoyable dining experience was evident. The culinary offerings were delectable, and the service was impeccable.One aspect that stood out was the distinction between the non-smoking and smoking sections of the casino. The non-smoking area exuded modernity and cleanliness, creating a pleasant atmosphere for non-smokers. My visit to the casino left a positive impression overall, significantly contributed to making my experience enjoyable.I previously worked for island view, but I want to clarify that I am no longer employed by the company at the time of writing this review.
