Firstly, Graeme had difficulty placing our order over the phone. The first call went unanswered, and during the second attempt, it took several tries for them to accurately record our order. They estimated the food would be ready in about 20 minutes, which sounded perfect. However, we ended up waiting— and waiting— until an hour had passed. When Graeme called to check on the status, we were informed that our order hadn't even made it to the kitchen yet. After another 20-minute wait, our food finally arrived. Unfortunately, it was incorrect. The delivery driver quoted a total around £50, which was quite steep. He also mentioned that our order had been given to the wrong customer, conflicting with what the person on the phone had told us. We had been charged for three full-sized portions of soft shell crab when we had only ordered a half portion. After sorting that out, our bill was adjusted to a more reasonable £26 (still a bit more than we anticipated since we were charged for the full crab portion). There was no offer of anything extra to compensate for the delay, nor was there a discount on the bill, which really dampened what would have been a lovely dining experience. Despite my frustration with the service, the food itself was delightful: the crab was outstanding, the chicken satay was tasty, and the prawn crackers and rice were excellent. That's the only reason I’m giving it 3 stars after such a rocky experience.
This restaurant offers an outstanding dining experience. The food is exceptional, earning a perfect score for its quality and flavor. The service is equally impressive, with attentive and friendly staff who enhance the overall experience. The atmosphere is inviting and enjoyable, making it an ideal setting for a meal. I highly recommend it!
