Firebrand Delicatessen - Gunnison

We had to wait an hour but it was definitely worth it. Sandwiches are extremely good. Call ahead to place an order as this place is very busy. Staff was very friendly.

Traveling. Called in for their to-go breakfast special. Service was great, beyond pleasant, friendly and fast. The lady who took care of our order could not be more accommodating. I noticed she treated another call in order, in the same manner as well as a young lady who came in for a pick up. Food was very hot and very tasty. Kudos for doing right and with a warm friendly smile.

To update my review. The food is great. It's still takeout only. My Ruben sandwich was awesome. Very friendly staff. My wife has a gluten allergy. The GF bread was exceptional. Anti cross contamination was a priority for them.

They were extremely kind and personable and accommodating. The sandwich was absolutely delicious. An excellent fruit salad as well. Also served with chips and a pickle. I felt like it was a great price for how good it was and how much came with it!!

The Firebrand is my favorite stop for breakfast and lunch when I'm in town!! The Magnus sisters are lovely people and make the *best* homemade muffins (and huge chocolate chip cookies!) and their sandwiches/sides are also made with healthy ingredients and much love. You bake a different range of muffins every day, so make sure you call in your order (641-6266 or stop early to get your favorites before they are gone! I love especially the pumpkin blackberry, raspberry poppy, cranberry walnut and blueberry, but have probably tried any kind of making heidi and cat over the years and they are all just delicious. Very recommended also the Surefire and Reuben Sandwiches. Don't miss Gunnison's amazing, unique little Deli where the locals go for great food!
