Do yourself a favor: if you're traveling along the Mississippi, make sure to stop here for a delicious, award-winning berry cake. Grab a slice to go, then find a bench by the riverbank to enjoy it. You won't regret it!

Easy stop for lunch. Pie was a plus. Table service or go from an old service counter. Good selection of local, German variations on traditional sandwiches. Pie sold, so order early! No outdoor seating. Includes shop with local food and wine. We have Iowa maple syrup. Open til 4, but food service stops at 2:30 on Saturday.

The food is excellent, and the staff are incredibly friendly in this beautiful, picturesque city. Be sure to try their homemade cake—it's absolutely delicious!

Everything is homemade and delicious! The prices are great too! It has a charming, old-school river town vibe!
