Shaikh Brothers - Guwahati

One of the oldest and best bakery in Guwahati. Their cookies are just awesome. Every evening there is rush. My parents are very much fond of their S-shaped cookies.

A very old bakery and have maintained their quality since ages . In very minimum price you get to taste tasty pastries . Buiscuits and dry Cake from this place are really good .

The famous Shaikh Brothers shop..the saying 'jitna kahe utna kam hai ' perfectly fits with this place. The place itself is a slice of history it 's been around for a long long time and has held its ground. It has its own set of customers, a 'fan base ' as one would describe it. Once famous for their pastries, patties and other snacks the place has lost its sheen during recent times with strong competition offering more attractive options. I would dearly love to see this place chart a turnaround and get back its lost glory. All the best!

The only bakery famous during 80s 90s is the shaikh brothers....famous for their cakes, pastry,paties etc...Though it has nw lost its glory as many bakery competitors are up in the market.... Pricing are pocket friendly.
