And we eat!!!! Shame as you were highly recommended. It was New Year so perhaps exhausted chef!!!! May try again at some point. Keeping an eye on reviews.
We ordered a takeaway for a treat as it's very expensive. After eating in the restaurant and having takeaways before we were thoroughly disappointed. All the dishes ordered didn't have the taste and flavour as normal. The sesame prawn toast was soggy. The beef in green peppers and black beans sauce was flavourless, the beef was tough with hardly any peppers. The crispy shredded beef wasn't crispy! It was tough and soggy! Safe to say we won't ever be ordering from there again or eating in the restaurant. What a complete waste of money.
Good atmosphere Good food A bit overpriced for what it was. no phone signal at all The manager couldn’t be bothered not very helpful !!!
We booked to have dinner at this restaurant as we were staying in Wales. The atmosphere/ambience of the restaurant was great. Music and lights. Not to mention the statues, it really was a nice touch. The restaurant was busy. We were served in good time. The food was well presented and was delicious. However, one of the people who were a part of our group ordered chips as one of their dishes, and on throwing the chips out of the bowl onto her plate, a fly that was still alive was at the bottom of the bowl. We were all shocked. I got the attention of one of the servers and he came over and I explained to him what happened and showed him the fly (that by this time was dead), he apologised and that was the end of the story. I don’t know what to make of it all. I really enjoyed my food. It was scrumptious and delicious. But the incident with the fly did put a damper on the overall experience. My question is, how did a fly get there. And how did it survive with the hot chips….
Booked a meal at Fu's and on the plus side the food was very good. We ordered a quarter duck with pancakes and so on followed by our main meal. We asked if we could have 20 minutes between the duck and the main me and we were told that was not a problem. We had just finished our duck and the main meal arrived. The result was instead of having a leisurely meal we were out of the restaurant in around 40 minutes. I understand it can be a fine line between feeling rushed and feeling neglected but maybe listed to what the customer would like. I would like to add the restaurant was only around 25% full during our visit.
