Penmaenuchaf Hall - Gwynedd

We went for Sunday lunch at this restaurant. The building was lovely and the surroundings were great. The service was friendly and the food and wine were very good. However, the interior setting didn't enhance the overall experience. The hotel is said to be dog-friendly, but if you have a dog, you're limited to a separate lounge with no atmosphere and are not allowed in the main dining areas. We left feeling conflicted about our experience.

Our experience at Penmaenuchaf was flawless. From the moment we entered and were welcomed by Claire, to the moment we departed, everything was exceptional. The staff were all very efficient. The food was outstanding. Our room was beautifully furnished and impeccably clean. We will definitely be returning to stay again in June 2025. A big thank you to all the staff for creating a memorable experience for us.

This restaurant is amazing! The staff at the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful, the room we reserved was fantastic, the food was top-notch, and the views were breathtaking. I would definitely give this place a 10/10 and would love to visit again in the future.

It would be nice to have more variety with dining options for vegetarian and pescatarian appetites. Service and staff were great!

Great meal lovely setting. Staff very attentive (without being overly so), and the food was awesome from the appetisers through each of the 3 courses. We could see the food being prepared kitchen staff clearly take pride in their work. Imaginative menu seriously there was nothing not to like. We will be back! Diolch yn fawr!
