The Menai Bar Restaurant - Gwynedd

The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere and the staff is friendly. The drink prices are a bit high, but it's worth it for the ambiance. The food is also tasty.

Limited food menu but the chilli con carne was surprisingly good ! I had it both nights I was there ! Second night I combined it with the nachos yum ! There is a sunny beer garden. Inside there are a couple of pool tables ... and great music ! There is also some parking.

Apart from great staff this place is very run down , hope that some money can be invested into the hotel as at the moment it’s very very poor Rooms look very tired and outdated I would not recommend anyone to stay here until the rooms have been updated .friendly and helpful staff is all this place has to offer

Stayed here for 3 nights with friends, we had breakfast here. most of breakfast was left and on last day did not bother to go down and went some where else to eat.

Friday night is Karaoke night till midnight! The noise was unbelievable and made any sleep impossible till 12.30 at least. Very noisy guests returning at 4 a.m. to the room directly above us again broke the night's sleep. Shower was broken and only gave a dribble of scalding hot water no reviving morning shower. The curtains did not meet to cover the windows. Breakfast was served by a willing staff member but who was obviously a very heavy smoker. The cup of lukewarm instant coffee sadly smelled strongly of cigarettes and an unknown aftershave. Quite put me off the other wise well prepared cooked breakfast. Avoid unless the last hotel in town,
