Treborth Garden Centre - Gwynedd

Disappointed with the food. Waited ages, coffee served without saucer which was totally odd. Then when the food came ,very basic. Won't be eating there again.

Really actually awful “garden centre”. It’s not really a garden centre, it’s more like a place where they store on shelves all the flimsy plastic rubbish that couldn’t be sold at a fairground or market. Brightly coloured plastic things that look like they will fall apart and go straight to land fill. It’s an ecological nightmare. However, if you just needed a cheap doormat, washing up brush or some screws it might do the job. It’s more like a messy pound store than a garden centre. We didn’t even find the way out to the plants. Cafe was a barren industrial space with clocks on the wall still in their plastic wrap packaging, with trailing wires, and some flashing fairy lights. It was quiet, with 11 staff, but there was still a 35 minute wait for a cheese sandwich and a reheated slice of quiche. Very very basic. Sorry, I can’t recommend it, unless you need to whizz in and grab some bags of compost or some diy stuff. Don’t eat here.

The breakfast took 30 mins to come out and it was cold. The bacon look a strange colour, eggs where burn and the hash browns also tasted strange. This was once a really nice cafe not anymore.

Popped in for breakfast at 9:30 on 4/6/24, wasn’t busy at all, had a traditional breakfast, wife had standard, coffee was nice, now the breakfast- really fatty undercooked bacon, crumbly hash browns, beans in clumps, sausages done in fryer and odd taste to them, underside of eggs were black like they were cooked on tarmac(griddle/pan not scraped so was black), used to be spot on breakfasts but has gone so downhill to be honest.

Called in for a late Sunday lunch and sat outside as the weather was warm. Excellent lunch, beef, turkey, roast ham, mashed roast potatoes, cauliflower cheese carrots. Garden mushy peas, parsnips, cabbage Yorkshire pud stuffing. Lashings of gravy in a boat to suit your needs. The counter and waiting on staff were lovely
