The staff at this restaurant are very friendly and the food is excellent, I highly recommend it. The meals are filling and homemade, always leaving me satisfied and happy every time I come here. The sausage rolls are some of the best in the area.
I really like their coffee and the salads are delicious. The atmosphere is bustling yet welcoming, and the staff is always friendly. I appreciate that we never feel pressured to leave our table quickly.
Bacon and eggs for two, egg and bacon roll for one. Poached eggs on toast for one. That was the plan - we received 3 egg and bacon rolls and the poached eggs. We didn't want to make a fuss so we ate it just the same. The poached eggs were fabulous cooked perfectly. Coffee would have liked it to be hotter. Egg and bacon rolls were very good just not what was ordered.
Keep it to a dull roar but barlissimo is open for dinner Friday and Saturday evenings. Booking essential . What a dining experience! Attentive waiters only too eager to inform of the menu . No mediocrity here, don't expect the ho hum of bruschetta and gluggy pizza instead try the mouth watering zucchini flowers with goats cheese .For secondi the spatchcock is the dish you have to indulge ,crisp skin , tender and moist flesh .its Michael's signature dish flavoured with rosemary, garlic and chilli.My partner had the veal with mushrooms both dishes served with duck fat potatoes.A radicchio & fennel side complimented perfectly. Without asking , more water was delivered and we shared a pannacotta with berries. With coffee I'd had ample sufficiency. Don't grissle about a mere 5 bucks for corkage it's worth every nickel . In spite of the crowded room the ambience still allowed for comfortable conversation.Sensational !!
