Gympie RSL Club

We were extremely impressed with our dining experience at this restaurant. We are typically very discerning and difficult to please when it comes to food. The meal was exceptional; we ordered the almond-crusted barramundi and it was delicious. Despite the busy crowd, our food arrived promptly. The ambiance was delightful and the staff were friendly, even offering a ride back to our hotel. We highly recommend this restaurant.

I recently celebrated my birthday at this restaurant with my family. Unfortunately, the meal was the worst I have ever had. My dish, which was supposed to come with avocado and bacon, was extremely dry and the chicken was tough to cut, let alone chew. I had enjoyed this dish before and was looking forward to it, but it was a major disappointment. My mother ordered her favorite lamb dish, but it was not prepared well. The chef seemed to struggle with cooking a proper roast and the lamb lacked flavor. My mother's plate mainly consisted of carrots, a piece of roasted pumpkin, mushy potatoes, undercooked corn, and cold and hard broccolini. Dessert was also a letdown, as the options were limited and uninspired. I expected more from a restaurant that claims to have a qualified chef. This experience was a major letdown and I hope the restaurant improves their food quality.

After waiting for 45 minutes for our lunch in the atrium bistro, I asked if we were to forget. at this time the kitchen had closed and they decided to whistle our meals. we would have said better to forget it and get a refund and be eaten elsewhere. my parma and veg were probably among the worst I had. the sweet was cold, the so-called creamy kartoffels were only kartoffels that were roughly smeared with no cream or butter to make them creamy, and the parma was killed. the sea fruit basket was boiled over and not taken care of. If we ever go back to gympie, we won't go back to eat.

That was my first time in a long time, I am a gin drinker, excited to see what the new gin bar was. I celebrated 40th matte, I must have too much fun. we all had one dance. I and two couples) there were about 5 other people at the whole event, must have been packed. I went to get my third drink and was rejected and asked to go, I felt humble in front of my freed, to dance. I didn't do anything inappropriate, just a good time with my friends. will not go out in a hurry. thank you

We arrived into Gympie in the afternoon and then decided to go to the RSL for dinner. It was great! We were picked up by their community bus and driven there. Then we ordered dinner, there are 8 of us but that didn't seem to...matter as the food came out in great time and hot too. Staff were very friendly and helpful and I feel are an asset to the club. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone travelling through Gympie...
