Grandl's Hofcafe, Franz Bachmeier

A family run business where the boss still cooks himself. Not always open due to a lack of staff, but when it was it was always tasty. There is only one small map, but it changes every now and then. Still good value for money, even with a snack menu. Rustic inside and out. Large parking lot at the restaurant, but still a bit away from traffic. Therefore pleasantly quiet in the beer garden. Always enough shady places. No beer benches, just real furniture and even if the waitress is stressed, every guest is served in a reasonable time, if necessary by the boss himself. There is no playground for the children, but I have never experienced such patient service when dealing with the little ones anywhere else. Don't be put off by a full parking lot because there are more spaces than it seems. It's always worth asking! I was even treated to something even though it was actually closed. Thanks for that ;

Very nice location in warm and cold seasons. I've been there several times, always for weddings, and haven't had any bad experiences so far. Definitely recommended from the guest’s perspective.
